Why Early Support Matters...
Early intervention for speech and language delays creates a powerful ripple effect across a child’s development. When challenges are addressed early- especially by age four or five- children build stronger foundations in sound production, vocabulary, and sentence structure at a time when the brain is most adaptable. Even a relatively short period of targeted support, such as six months of therapy, can significantly reduce the risk of later difficulties in vocabulary growth, reading comprehension, and overall literacy skills. By strengthening these core skills early, children are better equipped to access classroom learning, develop confidence in communication, and become successful, engaged readers in the elementary years and beyond.
